CRISIS SUPPORT DIRECTOR (CSD)
Forces Online CIO is a United Kingdom Wide Veteran's Support Organisation, that has a network of voluntary workers. The role of CSD is Nationwide based, and is a Registered Voluntary Trustee position.
The CSD is a senior position within the organisation, someone that ideally has a service background, and could manage a veteran in crisis. Local knowledge of areas and services would be an asset, but you will be supported at local level by the VSCs and local members and partnership group members. Trustees will be involved in the decision making process regarding Hardship applications to the Tom Howat Memorial Hardship Fund (THMHF).
Whilst you will be part of an on-call cover team for the CSD role you should ideally as a Trustee bring some expertise to other areas of the organisation.
